Our parents, our teachers and society have taught us to make choices with our brains. There is nothing worse than that! Our mind is very good to calculate, to compare, to evaluate, but it is a very bad adviser in terms of personal choice. According to our defined centers, we must make our choices by following our Inner Authority for those having one of the five centers acting as an authority.
The preponderance of centres is as follows:
– The Solar Plexus Center
– The Sacral Center
– The Splenic Center
– The Heart Center
– The G Center
If none of these centers is defined, which is the case for Reflectors and some Projectors, the Authority is called the Outer Process. They represent only a few percent of the population and they are the only ones who have to take time to make their decision without the help of a specific center.
People with the Solar Plexus defined have incarnated to experiment the full spectrum of emotions but they must not make any decisions while they are emotional. They must wait until the emotional wave has passed and clarity has settled. Any rushed decision while they are emotional will cause regret or chaos. By taking a step back, being patient, understanding your emotions, the situation becomes clearer and it is then possible to achieve discernment. Emotional clarity is feeling with your body and not your mind that your decision is the most natural in the world.
If the Sacral and(or) the Splenic are(is) also defined, people should also consider their Sacral Instinct and(or) their Spleen Intuitions.
People with this authority must learn to trust their Sacral Instinct which responds viscerally only by “yes” or “no”. Whether this answer is a noise in the throat, a sensation in the stomach or a muscle tension, to tame this answer it is necessary that you are asked closed-ended questions, but don’t forget that no Sacral answer means “no”.
The Sacral answer is reliable, loyal and trustworthy because it is expressed in the present moment without any hope or fear about the future. It indicates whether you have the desire and enough energy to accomplish a task or embark on a relationship. This answer being instantaneous, it is necessary to feel it in the present moment because soon after the mind starts disturbing this instinctive response. To be able to hear the Sacral answer, it is also necessary not to be contaminated by the contagious emotions of a friend or by the authoritarian mental influence of another. The instinctive response is wise, patient, serene and often inexplicable, it is our “feeling” that spoke.
People with the Spleen Intuitions authority must live in the present and be very vigilant to all the subtle physiological sensations and intuitive messages that their bodies send them. Their survival instinct does not lie to them, the Splenic knows in all situations if the opportunities, things and people are healthy and beneficial. Feeling sensations in the moment is essential because soon after the mind takes over and tries to contradict what it does not understand.
The silent messages from the Spleen are not repeated, they are designed for your safety and survival. Either you follow them or you ignore them. With such an Authority, it is therefore necessary to be constantly listening to your intuitive senses and more particularly when the emotions or the mind of others come to disturb you. While it can be confusing to blindly follow your senses and intuitions, they have foolproof reliability and they instantly tell you when you are deviating from your path.
Authority based on the Heart is the most sincere and simple authority possible because it is based on your will. People with this Authority must do what their Heart desires, thats it! This selfish will, which requires them to focus on themselves first rather than thinking about the others, can upset them or their loved ones, but they must at all costs respect it. By remaining in line with their most sincere wishes and never feeling compelled to do anything or to be with someone, what is good for them, will be good for others. This Authority being subjective and silent, these people must be careful not to be disturbed by their mind or others’ one in order to feel well that their will comes from their Heart.
Depending on their type, Manifestor or Projector, the Will of the Heart has nuances that are addressed in a Human Design report.
The Authority based on the G center cannot be explained. People with this authority should not seek to understand why and simply accept that innately they know what is good for them. However, the discretion of this Authority can be masked by their mind or by emotions, intuitions and minds of others who will tend to attract their undefined centers. They should not get involved in relationships or projects that are not for them because as Projectors, their energy is limited.
Their identity is expressed through their words. They must never prepare their speeches and learn to trust the words that come out of their mouth and they will know exactly whether to accept or refuse an invitation. Their own direction lies in what they spontaneously say and as they also know how to point the direction to others, this Self Guidance gives them the skills of a leader even if they are not aware of it.
People with the Outer Process authority must take their time and evaluate situations patiently and wisely. For them, there is no certainty in the present moment and they must exchange with those around them and their environment before making a decision. It is therefore necessary that their relatives are caring and trustworthy. These exchanges must also take place in a healthy environment in which they feel comfortable.
By exchanging ideas with their entourage, during their discussions, energy flows through their undefined centers and will allow them to find the answer inside them. The goal is not that their loved ones tell them what to do but that they feel how things resonate within them. By weighing the pros and cons, by checking the necessary, they arrive at the conclusion that will allow them to make their choice. Even if it is not practical to wait to make a decision, for the important things of life, it is absolutely necessary for a person having the Outer Process as Authority to make the right choices.
Reflectors must wait for a full lunar cycle before making a major decision. During this cycle, the moon travels through the 64 gates and helps them feel their active gates better.
